Granola Bar

Ingredients
  • 2 cups pre-packaged granola
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits, raisins, cranberries
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup nut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
Instructions
Prepare the Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the pre-packaged granola, nuts/seeds, and dried fruits. Mix well. 
Prepare the Wet Ingredients
In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the honey or maple syrup and nut butter until they are easily mixed together. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well coated and combined.
 
Press into the Baking Dish
  • Transfer the mixture to a lined baking dish. Use a spatula or your hands to firmly press down the mixture to ensure it’s compact and evenly spread.
  • Allow the mixture to cool in the baking dish for about 10-15 minutes. This will help them firm up before cutting.
  • Lift the granola block out of the dish using the parchment paper edges and place it on a cutting board. Cut into bars of your desired size and shape.
  • Let the bars cool completely on a wire rack before storing.
  • Once fully cooled, store the granola bars in an airtight container.
Feel free to add chocolate chips, coconut flakes, or other add-ins to customize the bars according to your preferences. Enjoy your easy and tasty homemade granola bars!
